Bumping up My Maternity Style

It's been awhile, but I have a goal to start blogging regularly! If there's anything specific you'd like to see, let me know!
My ever-growing baby bump has made it tricky to fit into most of my clothes! I've put together a maternity capsule wardrobe and I wanted to share a few pieces with you:
1) The best leggings ever!
My sister-in-law (who is also expecting!) got me a pair of these leggings for Christmas and they're probably my favorite piece of clothing. They are SO comfortable! They're tried and true because I wore them for four days straight when we drove across the country. I love them because you can't see through them and they're easily dressed up or down so I can wear them with a t-shirt at home or a nice shirt and boots for work.

2) Tunic tops
Tunic, or longer, tops are great for maternity style because they a long enough to comfortably cover a bump! I've discovered that a lot of clothes I was already wearing were easily converted to maternity clothing.

3) Dresses
Stretchy, comfortable dresses are a go-to for me any day of the week! I've discovered that dresses (and other clothes as well) don't have to be designed specifically as maternity to be a good fit for my growing bump. Here are a couple I especially love:

This dress is from one of my favorite boutiques, Nest Boutique.

This dress is from another favorite shop, Polly Ruth Boutique (use code meredith15 for 15% off your purchase!)
A few other tips for maternity clothes:
*Go up one size from what you wore pre-pregnancy. This will usually give enough room for your cute baby bump!
*If you're like me and love to layer, use demi or half tees instead of full-length tees under your clothes. I got some from DownEast and have loved them!
*Maternity jeans can be tricky! I got mine from Olive Ave Boutique and I have loved them! Honestly, you only need one or two good pairs.
There you go--my top tips for maternity clothing! Feel free to e-mail or reach out with questions. Also, if there are specific things you'd like to see on the blog, I'd love to hear them! I also plan to do more live videos in the coming weeks and over the summer, so stay tuned for those!
XOXO,
Meredith
